Market Street Plaza to Host Bluegrass & BBQ September 12 in Downtown Connersville

CONNERSVILLE, Ind. — Market Street Plaza will bring an evening of live bluegrass music, great food and community fun to downtown Connersville on Saturday, September 12, with Bluegrass & BBQ, featuring local and regional musicians along with nationally touring artists Lincoln Mash & Heather Alley.

The music begins at 6:00 p.m. with local artists Zac Hawkins and Silvertowne, kicking off an evening celebrating traditional and contemporary bluegrass music.

The Carl Bentley Band will take the stage next, followed by the evening’s featured performers, Lincoln Mash & Heather Alley.

Mash and Alley have built a strong following on the bluegrass circuit with their blend of traditional bluegrass, country influences, tight harmonies and accomplished musicianship. The Ohio-based performers have appeared at bluegrass festivals and events throughout the region and beyond.

In addition to live music, Bluegrass & BBQ will feature plenty of food, including BBQ, along with other vendors throughout the evening.

Organizers encourage visitors to arrive early, grab dinner and settle in for a full evening of live music at Market Street Plaza.
