Market Street Plaza to Host Worship Night Benefiting Fayette County Flood Victims

CONNERSVILLE, Ind. — Market Street Plaza will bring the community together for a special evening of music, worship and support for local flood victims on Saturday, September 26, featuring national touring Christian rock band Seventh Day Slumber along with local worship bands.

Worship Night at Market Street Plaza begins at 7:00 p.m. in downtown Connersville and will serve as a fundraiser to help victims of the recent historic flooding in Fayette County.

Headlining the evening will be Seventh Day Slumber, a nationally touring Christian rock band known for songs including “Caroline,” “Oceans From the Rain,” “From the Inside Out” and “We Are the Broken.”

The evening will also showcase local worship music with bands from Crosspointe Biker Church and Community Bible Church, bringing area churches and the community together for a night centered on faith, hope and recovery.

The event comes as Fayette County continues the long recovery process following devastating flooding that damaged homes, businesses and property throughout the community. Worship Night will provide an opportunity for residents to support those affected while coming together for an evening of encouragement and fellowship.

In addition to live music, food and other vendors will be available throughout the evening. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, enjoy dinner downtown and get settled in before the music begins.
