Redevelopment Commission

Aiding Business Development By Investing In Community!

Mission Statement

The mission of the Connersville Redevelopment Commission is to promote responsible redevelopment and economic growth within underutilized, blighted, or development-challenged areas of Fayette County. The Commission works to ensure that redevelopment projects serve the long-term social and economic interests of the community.
To accomplish this mission, the Commission may utilize a variety of redevelopment tools, including real estate acquisition, site preparation, and the construction or improvement of public infrastructure. These initiatives may be funded through Tax Increment Financing, Redevelopment General Obligation Bonds, federal, state, and local grants, employer partnerships, and carefully planned fundraising efforts.
The Commission’s primary focus is to strengthen the economic vitality of the County, expand the local tax base, encourage private investment, remove barriers to development, and create new employment opportunities.

The Redevelopment Commission meets at 9:00am the 4th Friday of every month

Meetings are held at City Hall, 500 N Central Ave, Connersville, IN  47331
